1. Membership & Eligibility
Brunch in Colour Social Club (“BIC”) is a private, membership-based social club created exclusively for Black women.
• Membership is open to Black women ages 35 and up.
• Membership enrollment opens three times per year: January, May, and September.
• Each cohort is limited to 20 members, with a maximum of 60 members annually.
• Membership is required to attend most BIC events. Select events may be open to non-members at our discretion.
• We reserve the right to approve, deny, suspend, or revoke membership at any time, with or without cause, to protect the integrity of the community.
Membership is non-transferable.

2. Event Participation & Dress Code (Strictly Enforced)
Brunch in Colour is a curated experience, and adherence to our dress code is mandatory.
Heels Requirement
• Heels are required at all Brunch in Colour events unless otherwise stated.
• Heel height may range from kitten heels (approx. 2 inches) to high heels (up to 6 inches).
• Flats, sneakers, slides, or sandals are not permitted unless explicitly approved in advance.
Color of the Month Policy
• Members must wear the Color of the Month.
• Accessories, shoes, and handbags must match the Color of the Month or be metallic (gold or silver) or clear.
• Black, white, nude, and brown are not permitted unless explicitly stated for a specific event.
• Prints, patterns, and logos are not allowed unless stated.
Failure to comply with the dress code may result in:
• denial of entry,
• exclusion from photos,
• removal from the event,
• or membership deactivation without refund.

3. Active Participation Requirement
Brunch in Colour is an exclusive, limited-seat community. Active participation is expected.
By joining, you agree to:
A. Consistent Engagement
Members are expected to attend in-person or virtual gatherings regularly. While we understand life happens, ongoing absence without communication impacts the community.
B. Monthly Participation Expectation
Members should participate in at least one in-person or virtual BIC experience per month, when available.
C. Community Contribution
Members are expected to uphold a culture of positivity, encouragement, and sisterhood in person and across BIC online platforms.
D. Membership Stewardship
Due to high demand and limited seats, inactive members may be removed to make space for waitlisted applicants.
Failure to remain active without communication may result in a warning or removal without refund.

4. Payments, Billing & Cancellation Policy
• Membership dues are $75.00 every three (3) months, billed automatically on a recurring basis.
• This equals approximately $25 per month, billed quarterly.
• All payments are non-refundable, including missed events or voluntary non-attendance.
• Membership cancellations require 30 days’ written notice.
• Charges will continue during the 30-day notice period.
• To cancel, email lolita@brunchincolour.com from the email associated with your membership.
• Failed or late payments may result in suspended access to events, platforms, or membership termination.

5. Code of Conduct
Brunch in Colour is committed to maintaining a respectful, welcoming, and safe environment.
Members agree to:
• treat others with respect and kindness,
• refrain from harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior,
• respect personal boundaries and privacy.
Violations may result in immediate removal from events or termination of membership without refund.

6. Media, Photography & Content Release
Brunch in Colour events are photographed and recorded.
By attending any event, you grant Brunch in Colour Social Club the irrevocable right to:
• photograph, record, and use your image, likeness, and voice,
• use such content for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes.
If you do not wish to be photographed, you must notify staff upon arrival. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee exclusion from all background imagery.

7. Intellectual Property
All branding, content, visuals, logos, language, and materials are the exclusive property of Brunch in Colour Social Club.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is prohibited.

8. Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability
Participation in Brunch in Colour events is voluntary.
You assume all risks associated with attendance, including but not limited to travel, venue conditions, physical activity, and interactions with others.
Brunch in Colour Social Club is not liable for:
• personal injury,
• property loss or damage,
• incidents occurring before, during, or after events.

9. Event Changes, Cancellations & Force Majeure
Brunch in Colour reserves the right to:
• modify event details, venues, dates, or times,
• cancel or reschedule events due to weather, venue issues, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control.
No refunds will be issued due to such changes. Credits may be offered at our discretion.

10. Privacy & Communications
By joining, you consent to receive:
• email communications,
• event updates,
• community announcements,
• transactional and informational messages.
Marketing text messages require express opt-in. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Your information will not be sold. We use trusted third-party platforms for payments, communications, and event management.

11. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time.
Updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
