Brunch in Colour Social Club

Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 21, 2025

1. Membership & Eligibility

Brunch in Colour is a membership-based social club for Black women aged 30 and up.

    •    Membership opens in January, June, and September.

    •    We accept 13 members per cohort, totaling 39 annually.

    •    You must be 30 years or older and identify as a Black woman to join.

    •    Membership is required for most events. Some events may be open to non-members.

    •    We reserve the right to approve, deny, or revoke membership at any time.

2. Event Participation

To maintain the Brunch in Colour experience, all members and guests must follow our dress code:

    •    Wear the Color of the Month.

    •    Accessories, shoes, and bags must be the Color of the Month, metallic (gold/silver), or clear.

    •    Black, white, nude, and brown are not allowed unless stated.

    •    Failure to follow the dress code may result in denied entry or membership deactivation without refund.

3. Active Participation Requirement

Brunch in Colour (BIC) Social Club is an exclusive, limited-membership community designed to foster meaningful connections, intentional social experiences, and vibrant sisterhood among Black women aged 30 and up. Because of the limited number of membership spots available and the high demand to join, active participation is essential and expected.

As a BIC member, you agree to:

    A.    Engage Consistently: Attend monthly brunches, events, or virtual gatherings whenever possible. Life happens, and we understand that, but consistent engagement is a key part of what makes this community thrive.

    B.    Participate in Virtual Get Togethers: Beginning May, BIC will host monthly virtual get-togethers, including happy hours, creative workshops, and community check-ins. Members are expected to engage in at least one virtual or in-person event each month.

    C.    Contribute to Community Culture: BIC is built on support, positivity, and connection. Members are encouraged to participate in discussions, share experiences, and uplift fellow members across our online platforms and in-person gatherings.

    D.    Honor the Opportunity: Membership in BIC is highly valued and limited. Inactive members may be removed to make space for new members on the waitlist who are eager to contribute and participate fully.

Failure to remain active without communication may result in a warning or removal from the club to ensure BIC continues to be a dynamic, engaged space for all members.

4. Payments & Refund Policy

    •    Membership fees are billed annually.

    •    Membership dues are billed Tri-quarterly (3 times a year) on a recurring basis. Membership is 79.99 per trip-quarter.

    •    All payments are non-refundable.

    •    To cancel your membership, a 30-day written notice is required. Charges will continue during that period.

    •    Late or missed payments may result in loss of membership and event access.

5. Code of Conduct

We are committed to fostering a positive and safe space.

By participating, you agree to:

    •    Be respectful, kind, and inclusive.

    •    Avoid harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior.

    •    Respect others’ privacy and do not share personal information without consent.

Violation of this code may result in removal from events and/or termination of membership.

6. User Agreement & Fees

    •    By using our platform or attending events, you agree to these Terms of Service, a legally binding agreement.

    •    If you violate these terms, we may suspend or terminate your account or membership.

    •    Some services carry regular or recurring fees, unless canceled by you.

7. Media & Photography Release

We document our experiences through photo and video. By attending our events:

    •    You grant Brunch in Colour permission to use images or footage of you for promotional use.

    •    If you do not want to be photographed, please notify staff at the event.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including branding, copy, and visuals—is the property of Brunch in Colour Social Club.
